Migration Planning

With a new platform selected, it’s time for us to plan the migration process. From moving over customer data to your products and orders as well as more select parts of your business such as payment gateways, shipping rules and blogs, we plan everything meticulously in advance.

Excecution

With the planning complete, it’s time to begin moving everything over to your new platform. You will experience no downtime on your current website while this is in progress.

Once complete, we will extensively test to make sure everything is there and then set up any relevant redirects to retain any old Google links.

How long does a replatform take?

It depends on the platform and how much has to be migrated e.g. customer information, blogs, order data. We can provide an estimation for how long it will take by contacting us now.

What sort of data can be migrated?

We can migrate over all of your customer, order and product data as well as your shipping setup, payment gateways and if you have blogs, we can migrate them over too. If you have a special request please don't hesitate to get in touch and we' be more than happy to help.

What happens to old links from Google if my URL's are different on a new platform?

Part of the work we do when we transfer your products over to your new platform, is create redirects to ensure that all old Google links work until your new URL's are indexed.
