Lanarkshire based florist has had a complete redesign of their website to meet todays web standards.
Allison’s Flowers contacted us a few months ago about us hosting her existing website. We were more than happy to oblige and also fixed some minor bugs on her website during the move. But here’s the thing with websites – they need to be kept up to date both content wise and functionality wise.
With their existing website running on older technology that wasn’t fully secure and built in a way that it was difficult for them to update, we had a chat with them about getting the site rebuilt into something much more secure and easier for them to manage. Built on WordPress and using custom fields, we’ve created Allison a fantastic website that is SO easy to update. No need for extensive coding knowledge, if you know how to work Microsoft Word then you can manage your own websites content just fine.
For the design, we were keen to take our client away from the dark colours and lighten the site to make it feel more fresh. And while our client was reluctant, once they saw the end result they were delighted. The site is super easy to use, looks fantastic on mobile and fully optimised for search engines.
